Voran Safety Footwear, an Extension of Your Body
All Voran safety footwear is designed based on the principles of Ergonomics:
• Humans as assets
• Technology as a tool for human comfort
• Promotion of quality of life
• Respect for individual differences
• Responsibility to all stakeholders
The principles and methodologies of participatory ergonomic design are applied in the shoe design. Ergonomics is an interdisciplinary and user-centered integrative science that deals with understanding the interactions between humans and other elements of a system. It applies theory, principles, data, and methods to design in order to optimize human well-being and overall system performance.
Ergonomics is crucial in preventing and protecting people from accidents and various types of injuries, promoting a safe and user-friendly work environment. The incorporation of new technologies in our products allows materials and textures to adapt to the anatomy of the foot, optimizing well-being.

ERGONOMICS AND PHYSICAL DISORDERS
common causes
Musculoskeletal disorders are among the top reasons for taking time off work, causing temporary or permanent limitations in functionality and productivity. As a result of fatigue, tiredness, or the painful postures adopted due to discomfort or musculoskeletal disorders, the lower limbs, lower back, and torso in general may be affected.
Some factors
Certain physical factors can contribute to fatigue, tiredness, or musculoskeletal disorders, such as lifting heavy loads, overexertion, repetitive movements, awkward postures, static postures, prolonged standing, among others. In all these factors, wearing inadequate, low-quality, or heavy footwear will increase the likelihood of harmful health effects. On the contrary, footwear designed following ergonomic principles will promote comfort and well-being.
CAUSES
Static or restricted standing for long periods of time (2 or more hours) can lead to circulatory disturbances in the lower limbs, causing pain, numbness, fluid retention, and likely affecting other segments of the kinetic chain, including the thighs, legs, and feet of the worker. When this occurs over extended periods (years), it can trigger diseases or injuries with permanent consequences, such as varicose veins, for instance.

Voran Energy BeneFITS
The unique sole with an Infinergy® by BASF core offers an entirely new walking sensation, returning over 55% of the energy to the user when walking, protecting the joints and preventing feet fatigue. Thanks to the state-of-the-art technology, our safety shoes give freedom of movement. The outsole design is inspired by the natural movement of the foot when walking, which reduces fatigue and provides greater stability in each step.
